Aron Raams' stijl is diep geworteld in Blues en Rock & Roll, op zesjarige leeftijd leerde hij al de eerste tricks & licks op de gitaar van zijn vader.
Tijdens zijn studie aan het Brabants Conservatorium werd Aron al snel toegelaten in zowel de Nederlandse jazz- als popscene en hij werkte met tal van gevestigde artiesten als Candy Dulfer, Trijntje Oosterhuis, Guus Meeuwis, Paul de Leeuw, Jules Deelder, Benjamin Herman en Eric Vloeimans.
In 2010 werd Aron lid van de Nederlandse loungeformatie 'Gare du Nord' waarvan hij sinds 2014 muzikaal leider is.
In 2012 startten hij en Eric van der Westen hun akoestische duo 'A Traveller's Tale'. Ze namen twee albums op: 'Alvin' en 'J.J.' Trompettist Angelo Verploegen en zangeres Kim Hoorweg spelen mee op laatstgenoemde.
Aron Raams' style is deeply rooted in Blues and Rock & Roll. At the age of six, he learned the first tricks & licks on the guitar from his father.
During his studies at the Brabants Conservatory, Aron was quickly admitted to both the Dutch jazz and pop scene and worked with numerous established artists such as Candy Dulfer, Trijntje Oosterhuis, Guus Meeuwis, Paul de Leeuw, Jules Deelder, Benjamin Herman and Eric Vloeimans.
In 2010, Aron became a member of the Dutch lounge formation 'Gare du Nord', of which he has been the musical director since 2014.
In 2012 he and Eric van der Westen started their acoustic duo 'A Traveller's Tale'. They recorded two albums: 'Alvin' and 'J.J.'. Trumpeter Angelo Verploegen and singer Kim Hoorweg play on the latter.
